MATT MOULSON SIGNS 3 YEAR EXTENSION

Huge news for the Isles, Matt Moulson has been signed to a 3 year contract extension. Matt has been the subject of a lot of trade rumors but thankfully all of the rumors are now diffused with this news. Fans who have followed the team the past months have consistently heard Moulson mention how much he enjoys Long Island and being an Islander and many fans had no doubt he would wanna stay but what most were worried about was if the Isles would have him back and be willing to pay the price of re-signing him. Thankfully it looks as if the Snow and the Isles are proving us fans wrong and are willing to pay the price to keep their 30 goal scorer. But not only was this great because the Isles locked up a key piece going forward but the contacts terms are ideal, he is getting 3 years at an average yearly salary of $3,133,333 per year which in my opinion is a steal considering he could have gotten at least $4 Million per year on the open market. There is no doubt about it this deal is terrific for the Isles organization, Matt Moulson, and all Isles fans.
