Semin Signs a 1 Year Extension with the Capitals

Alex Semin, a player many thought was headed to Free Agency and possibly a candidate to be moved at the deadline, has resigned with the Caps for 1 year at $6.7M per year. Although its a hefty price the Caps are happy to sign an ultra skilled winger up for the short term which could also mean that a trade during the off season is not out of the question.
