Waiver Wire Players Of Interest:

G- Antero Niittymaki (Sharks):  Nittymaki is a solid veteran goaltender that has proven himself as an established 1B type in the past. With 234 NHL games played I look at Nittymaki as one of the more experienced goalies in the National Hockey League. Unfortunately for Nittymaki, Thomas Greiss has been fantastic thus far for the Sharks and has taken a hold of the number 2 job behind Antti Niemi. There's a handful of teams looking for solid goaltending and I believe many of them will heavily consider placing a claim on Nittymaki. The most common teams mentioned as potential suitors for Nittymaki are the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Columbus Blue Jackets. I am almost certain that he will be claimed by someone, its just a matter of who.
