Anaheim Ducks Re-Sign Luca Sbisa To A 4 Year Extension
The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed defenseman Luca Sbisa to a 4-year contract extension worth $8.7 million. The cap hit for the deal works out to about $2.175 million per year. Sbisa was originally drafted by the Flyers in 2008 at 19th overall but was moved to the Ducks as part of the package for Chris Pronger. Sbisa at just twenty one years old has already played 99 games in the NHL and has displayed terrific potential. So far this season he has 2 goals and 6 assists for 8 points through 52 games. He along with Cam Fowler will provide the Ducks with an incredible defense core for years to come and this re-signing ensures that.
