Islanders 2011-2012 Game 6 Vs. Penguins Review:
LOSS: Isles 0-3 Penguins
Record: 3-4-0
Summary:
Another poor effort and honestly there isn't much to talk about in this one. Very similar play as the previous two losses before this particular game. The same players underperformed, and the same players showed up to play. This is only the 2nd home loss of the season so it was surprising to see such a bad effort back at home. I just felt like I was watching a team that didn't care and that is what scares me the most. They need to show up on there Thursday night game because this losing streak is becoming a problem.
Three Positive Players Of The Game:
1- John Tavares-
**I don't have to explain anymore. Every game he has the same spot, and every game he continues to carry this team (unfortunately he can't do it alone).**
2- Matt Martin-
Looked good on both sides of the puck, and threw some big time hits
3- Josh Bailey-
He is starting to play the game a bit more simpler which is exactly what he needed to do. We will see if he can carry that along.
Three Negative Players Of The Game:
1- Mike Mottau
2- Brian Rolston
3- Marty Reasoner
