The Islanders have returned Micheal Haley & Anders Nilsson on loan to Bridgeport |
Anders Nilsson was impressive in his starts throughout this recent call-up, but with Al Montoya returning from his injury he had to be demoted. Micheal Haley on the other hand, should still be with the club. He played fantastic during the past two games and was one of the most noticeable (in a good way) players on the ice. With guys like Marty Reasoner and Jay Pandolfo contributing very little to the team, it absolutely befuddles me as to why they're still playing everyday while Haley's getting demoted. I'm very unhappy with this decision.
With all that being said, this does mean that Casey Cizikas and/or Matt Martin is ready to return for tomorrows game so there is a little glimmer of light out of this news.
