Tampa Bay Lightning Sign Sébastien Caron
The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed thirty-one year old goaltender, Sébastien Caron to a one-year deal. This season Caron had been playing with Iserlohn Roosters of the DEL (Deutsche Eishockey Liga) in Germany. As is the case with all in-season UFA signings of players from overseas, Caron will have to clear waivers before being placed on the Lightning's roster. If he clears he will be eligible to play for the Lightning for the rest of the regular season, but because they signed him after the trade deadline he will be ineligible to play in the playoffs.

I'm not sure if he'll be too impressive when faced with NHL action again, but he will be given the chance to prove me wrong.
