NHL Rumor Update: July 10th, 2011
Bobrovsky On The Move
According to the Philadelphia media, the Flyers have made all 29 other NHL franchises aware that goaltender, Sergei Bobrovsky is currently on the trade block. They are actively shopping him and supposedly there is a decent amount of interest around the league. One rumored destination has been the Islanders, but I don't see the validity behind due to the already over-abundance of goalies in the Isles system.
Enroth Looking For A Trade
Another young goalie may be on the move as Jhonas Enroth is said to be very unhappy with the latest offer from the Buffalo Sabres. The offer was rumored to be a one-way deal worth about $525,000 per year. They seem to be very far apart in negotiations and I expect him to be moved within days.
Cam Janssen Headed To Vancouver?
The Vancouver Canucks seem to be very interested in Cam Janssen, and if I had to guess where he would land I would say Vancouver with out a doubt.
Trade Talk Picking Up
IncarceratedBob has reported that trade talk is heating up between quite a few NHL General Managers and it seems like a few eastern conference teams are looking to make a splash.
