Ryan Malone Headed To Toronto?
Tampa is looking to move out some cap-space and a likely candidate to be moved is Ryan Malone. There are a few teams that are interested in him, but supposedly the Leafs are the team that seems to be leading the race. I have heard many different rumored deals, but one in particular has been the most common...that deal is said to be including Ryan Malone and Carter Ashton. They would be moved to the Maple Leafs, and in return the Lightning would be receiving Jussi Rynnas and a third-round draft pick. I personally don't believe that a deal like this is practical, just based on the return (or lack of one) going back to Tampa Bay. But, it will be an interesting situation to watch through the next few days.

Goalies In Trouble
Jhonas Enroth signed yesterday, which now means that all 30 teams have both starters and back-ups set. That means that guys like Turco and Emery are going to have serious problems finding contracts. That also spells trouble for the Islanders and Evgeni Nabokov, as the market for Nabokov is practically non-exsistant which means the Islanders will not be getting the return they would like, and might not even be able to find a trade partner. Judging from this, I wouldn't be surprised if he starts the year actually playing for the Isles.

Campoli Getting Some Interest
Surprisingly, it looks as though there are quite a few teams interested in Chris Campoli. The Coyotes seem to be the leading candidate for him, but the Predators and Blue Jackets have also expressed interest.

Zherdev Headed Back To The KHL?
Nik Zherdev is starting to look at going back to Russia to play in the KHL. He has not gotten any reasonable offers from an NHL organization and despite his desire to remain in the league, he has decided to take offers from some teams in the KHL.
