Scott Gomez may be on the verge of leaving the Habs. Tony Marinaro of Montreal's Team990 has said that someone close to Scott thinks that he will be moved by the deadline. He reveals that there has been 2 or 3 teams interested in Scott.

I find it amazing that anyone would want Gomez. His cap hit is a RIDICULES $7,357,143 per year and to make matters worse he still has 3 seasons left at that salary. For a guy that is on pace for only 41 points, I cannot imagine any teams doing anything drastic to fit him in their line-up.
