Review:
The Capitals were able to acquire a big, talented winger in Troy Brouwer. His work-ethic is as good as it gets and at the age of only 25, he may have some upside he has yet to reach in his NHL career. The Capitals needed another heart and soul type player, and Brouwer fills that need perfectly. Now despite the fact that I believe Brouwer was a great acquisition for the Caps, I don't neccesarily love how much they had to give up. A first round pick is a very high price for Brouwer, but I guess it comes down to how much of a difference the Capitals really believe he will make.
