-Various sources have reported goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov is flying to Philadelphia to meet with Flyers upper-management and have face-to-face negotiations about a contract for him. This is HUGE for the Flyers organization, and if this goes the way they want it to you can start to look at the Flyers as big-time cup contenders for next season. Of coarse if they get this deal done, look for some trades to be made to move out some cap.
-According to Dmitry Chesnokov, Ruslan Salei of the Detroit Red Wings is receiving a considerable amount of interest from Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the KHL. The veteran defenseman has played in the NHL for 14 years and has had a very impressive career.
-Jeremy Williams has signed with EC Salzburg in Austria. Williams spent the 2010-11 season in the NY Rangers organization and spent most of the season with their AHL affiliate, the Connecticut Whale. In 75 games with the Whale, he had 32 goals and 23 assists for 55 points.
-Jamie Fraser has also signed in Austria, his new team is the Olimpija Ljubljana. Fraser is a former Islander, and spent time in the organization from 2007 until 2009.
