Thoughts:
Decent depth defenseman. He plays a very physical game and I think he provides a lot to a AHL team as he is a good role model for prospects coming up through the ranks.
LW. Ryan Stoa (Avalanche): 1 Year Extension (2-Way)
-$803,250 Per Year (NHL) & $62,500 Per Year (AHL)
Thoughts:
At 24 years old, this is a very important year for Stoa. I think he will be given many opportunities to prove his true worth and he must capitalize on them or this one year deal he got from the Avs will be the last year of his Avalanche career.
D. David Liffiton (Avalanche): 1 Year Extension (2-Way)
-$525,000 Per Year (NHL) & $100,000 Per Year (AHL)
Thoughts:
He is a solid AHL defenseman who is a good first call-up type guy. I also think he would do a decent job as a 7th defenseman in the NHL, but I would expect him to start the year down in the AHL.
G. Dany Sabourin (Capitals): 1 Year Extension (2-Way)
-$525,000 Per Year (NHL) & $150,000 Per Year (AHL)
Thoughts:
The 30 year old veteran goaltender, Dany Sabourin, has bounced around in his professional hockey career quite a bit, but at least for next season he will remain in the same organization. He will continue his play in the American Hockey League.
D. Maxime Fortunus (Stars): 2 Year Extension (2-Way)
-FIRST YEAR: $575,000 Per Year (NHL) & $105,000 Per Year (AHL)
-SECOND YEAR: $600,000 Per Year (NHL) & $150,000 Per Year (AHL)
Thoughts:
He has a very solid offensive game from the blue-line and is a good first-passer. He is a depth guy who will start in the AHL, but should see a decent amount of NHL time as he seems like a very capable 1st call-up type.
RW. Chad Kolarik (Rangers): Not Announced Yet

Thoughts:
His terms will be announced soon, but he shouldn't get much. I assume he will be on a 2-way deal as I expect him to be a depth forward for the Rangers. He will start down in Connecticut of the AHL
